Despite enduring the saga to end all sagas when landing the deal to bring Paul Pogba back to his old club, Man United got their business done early in this transfer window, however, there could still be one more player through the door at Old Trafford.

According to reports from French outlet, L’Equipe (via the Manchester Evening News), Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is still considering a move for Monaco defender, Fabinho, before the deadline on Wednesday 31st August.

The former Chelsea boss had claimed that he is happy with the squad he has at his disposal, but would not rule out another foray into the market this summer.

Speaking in a press-conference, before his side’s 2-0 over Southampton last week, the Portuguese said:

“The market is open until 31 August, but I am very happy with the players I have. I keep saying that I don’t talk about players from other clubs.”

As per the report, the Special One has been set a price of £25m to bring the 22-year-old full-back to Manchester, having seemingly lost out on fellow compatriot, Jose Fonte, who has reportedly decided to stay on the South Coast with Southampton.
