Manchester United host Crystal Palace on the final weekend of what has been a frustrating Premier League season for the Red Devils.

Jose Mourinho’s men will finish sixth regardless of their result on Sunday as well as other results, and could end up 27 points behind champions Chelsea should the Blues beat Sunderland, and United lose at home to Sam Allardyce’s Eagles.

However, Mourinho has led the club to the League Cup title and the Europa League final in his first season at Old Trafford, and with the showpiece against Ajax to come on Wednesday, their attentions will no doubt be focused on achieving a second piece of silverware.

Nonetheless, Allardyce’s Palace will go to Old Trafford off the back of a 4-0 win over Hull last weekend, a result which confirmed the Eagles’ top-flight status and relegated the Tigers, and they’ll know that victory on Sunday could see them finish the season in 11th.

Yet Mourinho’s United will go in as favourites ahead of Sunday’s encounter, however with their clash on Wednesday to follow, the Portuguese may make some changes to his side.

Thus, here are THREE Man United stars who deserve a chance against Crystal Palace…
