Swedish striker, Jesper Karlsson has admitted he is enjoying being linked with a move to Man United but is remaining grounded for now.

The 18-year-old was earmarked as a reported target for Jose Mourinho last month and has now spoken out about the links with Old Trafford.

Speaking to Swedish outlet, Aftonbladet, the Sweden U18 international said:

“Of course it’s fun [to be linked], but I cannot do anything more than just go out, do my best and perform.

“If they check and they think I’m good, that’s just a plus.”

The forward, who currently plays for Swedish top flight outfit Falkenberg, has scored 8 goals in 28 appearances in 2016 and was reportedly watched by scouts from Manchester on Monday.

Falkenberg sporting director, Hakan Nilsson, also confirmed the interest from the Red Devils and also admitted that should their interest materialise into a formal offer then they would probably have to sell the youngster.

Have your say, do you think Mourinho will go for his reported target…
