Newcastle willing to sell last season’s top goalscorer

Galatasaray are reportedly preparing a £3.6m move for Newcastle United star Papiss Cisse.

Reports suggest that the Turkish giants have already been in contact with the Premier League club about the Senegal international, with the Magpies insisting he is available for transfer.

The 30-year-old, who has 37 international caps; scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for Newcastle in all competitions last season, finishing as the club’s top goalscorer.

Galatasaray’s pursuit materialises on the same day that Cisse was dropped by manager Steve McClaren for the Magpies’ goalless draw at Manchester United earlier this afternoon.
