Although he hasn’t made as many appearances for Villa as he might have expected since his £6m move from Leeds last summer, Delph is still very highly rated. Villans manager Martin O’Neill is carefully supervising the youngster’s development in a squad that is highly charged with young England stars and expects him to make as big an impact as James Milner, Gabby Agbonlahor and Ashley Young in the very near future. Last year’s Football League Young Player of the Year.
