The Icelander joined Reading Academy in 2005 and has been out on loan at both Shrewsbury and Crewe in recent years – but this season his form has caught the attention of a number of clubs.

The Sig scored his first league goal for the Royals in September last year and was named the Championship Player of the Month for March, thanks mainly to five goals in six games.

Newly-promoted West Brom, plus Wolves and Bolton have been linked with the star but the management at the Madejski Stadium say they do not want to sell.
