McEachran has been at Chelsea since the age of eight, making his first team debut in the Champions League victory against MSK Zilina. In doing so he became the first player born after the inauguration of the Champions League to participate in the competition.

He was given another substitute appearance in the Carling Cup defeat to Newscastle this week, giving an assured and impressive performance – prompting manager Carlo Ancelotti to describe him as a player with a "fantastic future".
