Having played the last five games of the 2008/09 campaign, Walker was snapped up by Tottenham alongside Sheffield United team mate Kyle Naughton.

A return to Brammall Lane on loan last season allowed the youngster to continue his development with first team football, establishing himself as a virtual ever-present before being recalled by Harry Redknapp in January.

Walker has linked up with promotion chasing QPR for an initial month-long loan spell, with his parent club closely monitoring his progress. It is felt that it won't be long before he is a regular in the Premier League.
