Tottenham and Wales winger Gareth Bale is the Barclays Player of the Month for January.
The 22-year-old put in a string of sparkling performances to help Spurs stay in touch with title pace setters Manchester City and Manchester United.
Bale started the month by laying on the winning goal for Jermain Defoe in a hard-fought win over West Brom, and followed up by creating the equaliser for Luka Modric in a home draw against Wolves.
He then scored a stunning effort from long-range in the last-gasp defeat at Manchester City before finishing January with a two-goal performance in this week’s 3-1 win over Wigan.
This is the second time Gareth Bale has won the Barclays Player of the Month Award since joining Tottenham from Southampton in 2007.
The Cardiff born star is set to make his 100th League appearance for the club.
