Cash windfall for Man City
Friday, 08/07/2011
Mega-rich Manchester City have boosted their bank account further by selling the naming rights to Eastlands.
Their ground will now be known as the Etihad Stadium, after their shirt sponsors, in deal which is thought to be worth up to £150m.
The deal runs for the next ten years and the amount of cash involved would wipe out city's current debt.
City now also have their own jet, an Airbus A-303, which is finished in their colours and carries the club's crest.
