Chelsea star’s new deal

Gael Kakuta has agreed a new four and a half year deal to stay at Chelsea until 2015.

The French teenager's transfer to Stamford Bridge resulted in the Blues getting a two-year transfer ban - which was later lifted - after they were accused of enticing him to break his contract with Lens.

Chelsea were later cleared of any wrong-doing.

Winger Kakuta, 19, has made just one Premier League start for Chelsea but there have been suggestions that he's been eyed up by German giants Bayern Munich.

He was initially signed in 2007 and has come through the ranks at Chelsea where boss Carlo Ancelotti has sung his praises and said he wanted to hang onto the star often refereed to as the "Black Zidane".
