Chelsea winger leaves on loan

Chelsea have allowed Gael Kakuta to go out on loan to Dijon until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old, who has been on loan to Bolton, has yet to appear for the Blues in the Premier League.

Kakuta, a France Under-21 winger, was on loan last season to Chelsea's neighbours Fulham.

He arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2007 and was hailed as a bright new prospect as he worked his way up from the youth sides.

Kakuta was the youngest player to turn out for the Blues in the Champions League and earned himself a deal to 2015.

He was banned from football four four months in 2009 over his move to London from Lens, and Chelsea also received a transfer embargo. Both penalties were later lifted.
