City line up £30m winger

Chilea winger Alexis Sanchez is is talks over a near-£30m switch to Manchester City.

The Udinese wideman was involved in negotiations for a possible move to Barcelona but with that deal stalling City have moved in.

Sanchez, 22, is the target of a number of big Italian sides but none of them can match the wages on offer at Eastlands.

If the player arrives it could put a question mark over the futures of either Adam Johnson or James Milner – or at the very least make those two players consider just how many appearances they may make and how it could affect their England hopes.
