Double Deal for Whites
Thursday, 01/07/2010
Owen Coyle's rebuilding of Bolton Wanderers has begun with a double-capture of free agents.
Robbie Blake, with whom Coyle worked with a Burnley, has left Turf Moor to sign a one-year deal with the Trotters.
Blake's stand-out moment of last season was probably scoring the winner against Manchester United to secure one of the shocks of the campaign.
The 34-year-old rejected an offer of an extension from the Clarets.
Coyle will also welcome Martin Petrov from Man City; pipping Aston Villa and Everton to the winger's signature.
The former Atletico Madrid wideman was frozen out at Eastlands last season after injuries had troubled his three-year spell with City.
The 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract at the Reebok Stadium.
