Drogba could stay
Friday, 17/02/2012
Striker Didier Drogba could yet stay at Chelsea.
The Ivory Coast star has been involved in contract talks for months with his deal set to run out this summer.
He has been offered a one-year extension but wants two years.
Drogba, linked with moving to China to join former striker partner Nicolas Anelka, said: "There are a lot of rumours. Everybody knows I want to stay at Chelsea. Everybody knows my heart is blue."
Despite reports of player unrest at Stamford Bridge and suggestions that some of their star players do not agree with the plans of boss Andre Villas-Boas, Drogba wants to stay in London.
Striker Daniel Sturridge is said to be unhappy playing wide instead of in the middle and has been linked to Arsenal whilst miss-firing Fernando Torres's future has also been questioned.
