Germans raid Chelsea again
Wednesday, 15/06/2011
German Bundesliga side Hamburg have signed their fourth player from Chelsea this close season by taking Jeffrey Bruma.
The Dutch defender has joined them on a one-year loan deal with the option of a further year.
He joins England Under-21 central defender Michael Mancienne, signed for £2m. Hamburg have also nabbed highly rated Turkey forward Gokham Tore and Italian midfielder Jacopo Sala, both 19.
Bruma, also 19, who has represented Holland at a number of levels and has two senior caps, spent part of last season on loan at Leicester City.

I think it would be a good move for Bruma who has been unable to push for a place in the team ahead of the more experienced stars of the team. Much like many other Chelsea youngsters he will have to go elsewhere to further his football ambitions.
