Huth appeal dismissed

Stoke have lost their appeal against the sending off of defender Robert Huth in the game with Sunderland.

The German defender will now miss Premier League matches against Fulham and Swansea City and the FA Cup clash at Crawley.

The Potters lost 1-0 after Huth was red-carded for a challenge on David Meyler.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis accused the Sunderland player of play-acting and getting Huth dismissed by referee Martin Atkinson.
