QPR in Zamora bid
Tuesday, 31/01/2012
QPR have had a bid accepted for Fulham and England striker Bobby Zamora.
It is understood Rangers have offered £4m for the hitman and that Zamora has agreed personal terms.
Just a few weeks ago Fulham boss Martin Jol said Zamora was not for sale in this transfer window.
Zamora, 31, joined Fulham just over three years ago from West Ham for just under £5m.
He was impressed with boss Mark Hughes's work before the gaffer left Craven Cottage and would have no problem working with him at QPR.
Zamora was under contract at Fulham to 2014 and aims to force his way into Euro 2012 contention.
QPR defender Matthew Connolly has joined Reading on loan for the rest of the season.
