Roman may stay
Friday, 02/04/2010
Russia striker Roman Pavlyuchenko could stay at Tottenham.
The hitman was expected to be transferred during the January window but was kept at White Hart Lane due to an injury crisis and little interest from other clubs.
The £14m buy, who arrived from Spartak Moscow in 2008, took his chance and hit eight goals in six games to cement his place in the side.
And he’s admitted: “I’m not in a hurry to take major decisions on my career.”
That could mean an end to the Spurs career of Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane, currently on loan at Celtic.
