Sort out Tevez affair, says legend

Manchester City have been urged to sort out the Carlos Tevez affair as soon as possible for the sake of the club.

Legendary club captain Andy Morrison told Shoot: "It's a difficult one. No matter what the club do it will be the wrong decision. If it is true what we are told that he did refuse to play, if it is true on the other hand that he just refused to warm up – they are totally different things to me.

"Both are wrong, both are unprofessional and undisciplined and because of the global press that Manchester City now get it is hard for these things to go away.

"Whatever was said and done he made the wrong decision and hopefully it will be sorted on and he can be moved on and it will be forgotten about or he will just slip back into the squad.

"It has to be what is best for Manchester City it cant be what is best for Tevez or the manager, it has to be what is best for the club."
