Striker set for Rovers

Scotland striker David Goodwillie is set to join Blackburn in a £2.8m deal.

Rovers are believed to have pipped Rangers at the post to sign the 22-year-old.

The Ewood Park outfit just managed to offer more for the hitman than the Scottish champions.

Goodwillie has been a much sought after player this summer after scoring 19 goals last season.
