Tevez on the move
Friday, 02/12/2011
Manchester City could be rid of striker Carlos Tevez in January.
AC Milan are keen to take the Argentina hitman on loan for a fee that the Premier League club could find attractive to get their problem star out of the Etihad.
The Italian giants would then be able to try and negotiate a permanent fee for Tevez - although they face opposition from mega-rich Anzhi Makhachkala and Corinthians.
City desperately want rid of the hitman who has gone awol in Argentina after being fined for allegedly refusing to take to the pitch as a sub against Bayern Munich.
He has refused to apologise to boss Roberto Mancini, effectively ending his City career. Fans also don't want him back, and have shunnded buying replica shirts.
Money is no object for Russians Anzhi. But Tevez would probably be keener to player for Corinithians who might struggle to come up with an attractive transfer fee, having failed to land the star last summer.
Although Tevez has insisted he wants to return to South America, Italy could prove an attractive alternative although he is said to be unimpressed with links to Juventus.
