Winger’s new deal
Tuesday, 20/07/2010
Matthew Etherington has agreed a new four-year deal with Stoke City.
The winger finally put pen to paper after months of speculation about his future at the Britannia Stadium.
The former Tottenham, West Ham and Peterborough midfielder has been in the form of his life for the Potters and last season was voted their Player of the Season.
Left-sided Etherington, 28, a former England Under-21 player, has been touted by his manager Tony Pulis as a potential candidate for the senior international squad.
