Wolves grab Hunt

Republic of Ireland midfielder Stephen Hunt has joined Wolves - even though he is unlikely to play until October.

Hull agreed with the star that he could leave them if he was relegated. And he has now agreed to sign on at Molineux after a £4m-plus fee was agreed between the clubs.

He will link up again with his Ireland team-mate and former Reading colleague Kevin Doyle.

Hunt, 28, is currently out of action with a foot injury. He joins other new Wolves signings Jelle Van Damme from Anderlecht and Burnley striker Steven Fletcher. Loan midfielder Adlene Guedioura has joined permanently from Charleroi.
