Fergie checks out Posh kid

Peterborough defender Ryan Bennett is on the radar of Manchester United.

The Peterborough starlet is fancied by Sir Alex Ferguson, according to Posh boss Darren Ferguson, Fergie's son.

Fergie junior added: "It's no secret that a lot of clubs are looking at Ryan. I'm staying silent on who exactly is interested, but unless we get a massive offer there is no way the chairman would sell."

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony has insisted his club are under no pressure to sell the England Under-21 player or any of their other stars.
