Foxes add Nugent

Leicester City have made their fifth major signing of the summer by adding striker David Nugent to their squad.

The former England Under-21 star arrives on a free from Portsmouth and has agreed a three-year deal.

He joins Kasper Schmeichel, Lee Peltier, Neil Danns and Sean St. Ledger at the renamed King Power Stadium.

Liverpool-born Nugent, 26, was out of contract at Pompey. He has previously played for Bury, Preston and had a season on loan at Burnley.

Portsmouth bought the one-cap England striker in 2007 for a fee of £6m.
