Foxes’ striker bid

Leicester have had a bid accepted for Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith.

Other clubs have also been in for the hitman and the Foxes are talking to the player.

City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has persuaded Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns to agree a three-year contract.

Danns, 28, was out of contract at Selhurst Park and has had interest from Premier League and Championship clubs and an offer from Rangers.
