Jamo a Robin?

Jamo a Robin?

Thursday, 29/07/2010

England keeper David James - 40 this weekend - could be set to join Bristol City.

The out-of-contract Portsmouth shot-stopper was expected to join Celtic but has now had an offer from the Robins.

Jamo may jump at the chance of joining the Championship outfit so he can remain at the home he has in East Devon.

City boss Steve Coppell may even offer a coaching role to the veteran keeper who is keen to move into management after playing.

James turned down a bonus he was due from Pompey earlier in the year to help them through the financial problems. However, if he doesn't sign for a new club within the next month he will be entitled to four weeks wages from the South Coast outfit.
