Leeds Twitter ban

Leeds United have banned their players from using Twitter following a leak about an injury problem.

Striker Davide Somma revealed by the social networking site that he would be out injured for the next six months.

United boss Simon Grayson was furious that news of the cruciate ligament injury had leaked before some officials at the club had heard the news.

Players have now been banned from using Twitter and Grayson said: "It is club policy with any social networks that players are banned from leaking any information. It should have been left for me to sort out, so from now on all players will be banned from using that sort of network."
