Leicester promotion possible, says Schmeichel

Keeper Kasper Schmeichel says promotion is still "100 per cent possible" for Leicester following the return of boss Nigel Pearson.

The son of Man United legend Peter says that Pearson has lifted the gloom among the Foxes after he replaced Sven Goran Eriksson.

"The new gaffer has come in and he’s been a breath of fresh air," admitted Schmeichel. "He’s really enthusiastic and he’s a winner and that’s what we want."

And if promotion was possible he told Soar Magazine: "One hundred per cent. There are over 25 games left and it’s still very early days and everything is possible."
