Mowbray takes title

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is the npower Championship Manager of the Month.

It is his second award of the season and comes after Boro went the whole month unbeaten with four wins and a draw.

Mowbray, 48, a former player for Middlesbrough, has turned around the fortunes of his local side and put them among the front runners for promotion to the Premier League.

The other contenders were Sean Dyche (Watford); Eddie Howe (Burnley) and Brian McDermott (Reading).
