Pompey release ten

Cash strapped Portsmouth have released almost a full team's worth of players.

Pompey have shown the door to ten, including experienced midfielders Richard Hughes and Michael Brown.

The pair have not been used by Portsmouth since the end of last year because they would have had to be given new contracts in they had turned out.

The others out of Fratton Park are keeper Darryl Flahavan and striker Danny Webber, along with youngsters Marlon Pack, Pete Gregory, Tom Kilbey, Perry Ryan, Ellis Martin and Billy Goddard.
