Saints sign Sharp

Southampton are set to sign striker Billy Sharp from Doncaster.

The 25-year-old is understood to have agree personal terms and undergone a medical at St. Mary's.

He is believed to have agreed a three and a half year deal after a fee of just under £2m was agreed with Rovers.

Sharp has been on the radar of a number of clubs for months and recently turned down a move to Leicester City.

He played with current Southampton boss whilst they were both at Scunthorpe United.
