County sack Allen

Notts County have sacked boss Martin Allen.

His dismisal came after the 3-0 defeat at Hartlepool on Saturday.

Allen, 46, had been in charge at Meadow Lane since April last year.

County are 11th in League One and their defeat at Pools was their first in five games.

Allen has also been in charge at Barnet, Brentford, MK Dons, Leicester and Cheltenham.
