Johnson returns to Yeovil

Gary Johnson has returned to Yeovil Town as manager.

The 56-year-old gaffer left the Glovers seven years ago to take over at Bristol City.

He guided the Robins to the verge of the Premier League before taking over at Peterborough and then Northampton, where he was sacked last November.

The London-born manager was last in charge at Huish Park between 2001 and 2005 and won them promotion to the Football League.

Johnson takes over from Terry Skiverton who becomes his assistant. Defender Skiverton played under Johnson and took over as boss in 2009.
