Ridsdale in Plymouth takeover
Tuesday, 05/07/2011
Former Leeds United chief executive Peter Ridsdale is buying Plymouth for £1.
The debt-crippled Pilgrims, who are in administration, are being taken over by their acting chairman.
Ridsdale, 59, will not have control of the club's property and assets.
But the club insist they will have enough players to compete in League Two next season, despite just 11 turnings up for pre-season.
Plymouth must satisfy the Football League within the next few weeks that they have the ability to play their fixtures this campaign.
