Shots’ boss

Former Southampton defender Jason Dodd has taken over as caretaker boss of Aldershot. The Shots lost manager Garry Waddock earlier in the week when he moved to Wycombe to take over from the departed Peter Taylor.

Dodd, 39, has held various coaching roles with Southampton since hanging up his boots and has been manager of non-league Eastleigh. Aldershot are currently sixth in League 2.
