Beckham’s new deal

David Beckham is staying at LA Galaxy.

The former England captain looks like ending his playing career in America after agreeing a new two-year deal with the club.

Paris Saint Germain and a number of Premier League clubs had hoped to lure the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star back to Europe.

But the 36-year-old has decided that his future remains in Los Angeles – and has even accepted less money than was on the table from PSG.

Beckham's family were keen to stay in LA and he admitted: "This was an important decision for me.

"I had many offers from clubs from around the world. However, I'm still passionate about playing in America and winning trophies with the Galaxy."
