New caps for Scots

Scotland have called up two new players – and given keeper Craig Gordon a recall.

Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew and hot-shot Blackpool forward Matt Phillips are both in the squad for the friendly with Slovenia.

Phillips has played for England at youth level but is elligible for Scotland through his grandparents, subject to FIFA clearance.

Sunderland's Gordon, out of action for almost a year with injury problems, is recalled despite just edging his way back to fitness in the Black Cats' reserves.
