Scotland’s new boss
Wednesday, 23/12/2009
Craig Levein has been named as Scotland's new manager.
The Dundee United boss has taken over the international side and the SFA have to agree compensation with his club – thought to be around £250,00.
Former Hearts defender Levein, 45, later bossed that side after going into management at Cowdenbeath. He was later sacked as gaffer of Leicester.
But he moved back over the border to Raith and then Dundee United where his coaching and rebuilding of the club have impressed.
His first job as head of the Tartan Army will be to try and get Scotland to the finals of Euro 2012.
