Scots stumble

Scots stumble

Saturday, 03/09/2011

Scotland are all but out of Euro 2012 after a 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic.

Craig Levein's side twice took the lead only to lose out on all three points to a last-minute penalty.

Kenny Miller put them in front just a minute before the break but Jaroslav Plasil equalised on 78 minutes.

It looked like Manchester United's Darren Fletcher had won all of the points for the Scots with a goal seven minutes before time.

But then Michal Kadlec squared things in the dying seconds with a controversial penalty. Jan Rezek appeared to go down easily to Danny Wilson's challenge to earn the spot-kick.

The Tartan Army was raging seconds later when they had a penalty appeal turned down at the opposite end.
