Almunia future in doubt
Friday, 10/12/2010
Arsenal look set to lose keeper Manuel Almunia.
The Spanish shot-stopper's agent says his player wants a move back to Spain.
Almunia has been out injured since September and Gunners boss Arsenal Wenger has handed the shirt to Lukasz Fabianski.
Wenger also has high hopes for 20-year-old Pole Wojciech Szczezny so would be unlikely to stand in the way of Almunia, 33, moving back to his home country.
Having failed to land Fulham's March Schwarzer for their problem keeper spot, Arsenal are believed to still be in the hunt for an experienced man between the sticks.
Although Wenger has claimed there will be no transfer activity at the Emirates Stadium in January.
