Arsenal’s double blow
Wednesday, 08/09/2010
Arsenal face being without key players Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie.
Dutch striker Van Persie is expected to be out until the middle of October after picking up an ankle injury in the game with Blackburn.
Now the Gunners are sweating on an injury picked up by Walcott during England's Euro 2012 qualification victory in Switzerland.
Walcott had to be taken off just minutes into the game and went straight to hospital for a scan. There are suggestions that the forward may only miss two weeks.
Arsenal have key games coming up, including the North London derby with Tottenham and Champions League fixtures.
