Balotelli’s staying!

Mario Balotelli is staying at Manchester City, says his agent.

The Italian striker is going nowhere, despite rumours, says Mino Raiola.

Trouble and controversy have never been far away during the hitman's time at the Etihad Stadium but Raiola says the marksman is staying put.

"I'll say this for the umpteenth time: Mario has a very long contract with City and an out clause that is very high," said Raiola. "He has no intention of leaving England."

Balotelli has certainly become a much more influentinal player this season and despite some off-field problems is a firm favourite with boss Roberto Mancini.

Balotelli, 21, has been linked with returns to Inter Milan or to other teams in Italy, including Napoli.

Mancini said: “Mario can improve every week and every month. He is young and when you are a young player, you improve always."
