Beckham blow

Injured David Beckham may not return to action until November.

The England midfielder was injured playing for AC Milan in March which ruled him out of the World Cup finals.

But it was hoped that he would be back in action for parent club LA Galaxy by September. Now the former Manchester United star admits that it looks like he is going to miss a further two months. It could mean he may not play in the MLS this season.

If he can get back playing later in the year - maybe on another loan to AC Milan or another European club - Beckham could appear for England in their Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales next March.

England boss Fabio Capello has already said he would not rule out picking a fit-again Beckham. The player admitted: "It's frustrating and disappointing."
