Becks is back

Former England skipper David Beckham has boosted his World Cup chances by agreeing a second loan move to AC Milan. The ex-Man United and Real Madrid star joined the Italian giants last year and his form ensured his international place.

This time he has joined the Serie A side from LA Galaxy for six months, starting in January. Providing he is fit and playing well that will almost guarantee his place in Fabio Capello's 23-man squad for the finals in South Africa.

Becks, 34, was in outstanding form earlier this year when he played for Milan and had always been expected to rejoin the team for a further loan.
