Bellamy’s return

Wales striker Craig Bellamy is wanted by two of his former clubs.

Blackburn want the hitman back at Ewood Park where he enjoyed a very successful spell.

And Celtic, where he was on loan from Newcastle, are also keen to land the player.

He was also been linked to West Ham, another of his former teams.

Bellamy was on loan from Manchester City to home town club Cardiff all last season and is surplus to requirements at Eastlands.

City want him off their books so they can offload his wages - but it is the size of his pay packet that will deter other clubs.

Bellamy would have no problem staying with Cardiff if they could afford his pay. Celtic could be priced out of the market unless he takes a cut.

Blackburn's new owners have promised cash for new players which could foot the bill for a player who is 32 next month.
