Boateng joins City

German defender Jerome Boateng has joined Manchester City.

No fee has been revealed for the 21-year-old but it is believed to be in the region of £10m.

Boateng is the younger brother of Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince, who has decided to play for Ghana.

Jerome's five-year deal after joining from Hamburg will become official on July 1.
