Cats in Spurs raid
Sunday, 28/03/2010
Sunderland look set to take their contingent of former Tottenham players to FOUR!
Having landed striker Darren Bent from White Hart Lane last season the Black Cats are looking to take three more Spurs stars.
They already have Scotland defender Alan Hutton on loan and look likely to make that a permanent move.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is also likely to move for midfielder Jamie O’Hara who has been a smash during his season-long loan with strugglers Portsmouth.
He will also approach Harry Redknapp, his opposite number at Spurs, about buying winger David Bentley who has fallen out of favour and out of the England side.
Bruce, who has guided Sunderland to safety in recent weeks, has the blessing of the hierarchy at the Stadium of Light and it is understood he has been given a decent transfer kitty.
