Cats look to Villa raid

Martin O'Neill is set to raid former club Aston Villa for a number of players.

The new Sunderland gaffer could more for one of Villa's experienced defedners to bolster his Black Cats.

On his shopping list are Carlos Cuellar, James Collins and Richard Dunne.

Villa boss Alex McLeish won't want to lose any of his senior stars but knows he must sell before he can buy in the January transfer window.

Sunderland have also been linked with Fulham strikers Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora.

Zamora is likely to be told he can leave Craven Cottage if there is a big enough offer for him – although a move to a London club such as Tottenham or QPR is more likely.
